At Fitness & Self Defense Brussels (www.fitnessandselfdefense.be), we are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data in accordance with applicable Belgian law and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have regarding your information.

1. Data We Collect

We collect personal information that you provide to us when you contact us, book a session,

subscribe to our content, or interact with our website. This may include:
- Name and surname
- Contact details (email address, phone number)
- Billing and payment-related information (processed securely by third-party payment providers)
- Information about the services or training packages you purchase
- Any information you voluntarily share with us in messages or forms.

We also collect certain technical data automatically when you use our website, such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited.

2. Use of AI and Analytics

We may use AI-based tools and analytics services to better understand how visitors use our website, improve our services, and personalize communication. These tools may process usage data (such as pages visited, time spent on the site, and interactions with content) in an aggregated or pseudonymised form.

3. Third-Party Services and Data Collection

Our website may use third-party services (such as payment providers, booking systems, analytics tools, social media platforms, and marketing tools) that collect and process data through cookies, tracking technologies, or embedded services. These third parties act as independent controllers or processors and have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review their policies for more details on how they handle your data.

Purchase Policy

1. Non-Refundable Services
All purchased services and training packages are non-refundable. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you understand and accept this policy.

2. Validity of Sessions

- A single session is valid for 1 week from the date of purchase.
- Packages of 5–10 sessions are valid for 2 months from the date of purchase.
- Packages of 11–20 sessions are valid for 4 months from the date of purchase.

Unused sessions after the validity period will expire and cannot be refunded or transferred.

3. Membership and Subscription

We do not charge or operate ongoing subscription fees. Your membership or access to training is linked to the specific package you purchase.

Your membership ends when:
- All sessions in your package have been completed, or
- The validity period of 2–4 months (depending on the package) has passed.

We do not automatically renew your training package. If you wish to continue, you must purchase a new package. We may send you a reminder approximately one week before the end of your validity period, but it remains your responsibility to use your sessions within the time frame.

4. Data Retention and Security
We retain your personal data for a maximum of one year from the date of collection, unless a longer period is required by law (for example, for accounting or tax purposes). After this period, data that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.

Our backend systems are not publicly exposed. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

5. Reviews and Testimonials
We value honest feedback from our clients. We do not accept, request, or publish fake reviews. Any testimonials or reviews displayed on our website or social media are based on genuine experiences from real clients.

6. No Automatic Renewal
We do not automatically renew your training package. You will not be charged without your knowledge or consent. If you wish to continue training after your package ends, you must actively purchase a new package.

We aim to remind you about the end of your package at least one week in advance, but we cannot guarantee delivery of reminders in all cases (for example, due to spam filters or incorrect contact details).

7. Your Rights
Under GDPR and Belgian law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Object to certain types of processing
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

To exercise your rights or ask questions about this Privacy & Purchase Policy, you can contact us using the contact details provided on our website.

8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy & Purchase Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or internal practices. The latest version will always be available on www.fitnessandselfdefense.be. Continued use of our services after changes are published will be considered as acceptance of the updated policy.
